What Makes a Good Trader?

Does being a good Technical Analyst make you a good Trader? is a good trader defined by the ability to come out of every(most) trade successfully? and avoid losing to stops and liquidation? also, is being a good Analyst the ability to find great setups (entry, target, invalidation points)?

Most times, majority of analysts are traders, while there are few who do only analysis and leave the rest to traders. Personally, I think one can be a very good technical analyst and be very bad at trading (executing orders). So what exactly defines a good trader? as technical analysis is about taking past data to predict future movements, and trading is mostly about executing orders in an instrument. This means a trader who depend on an Analyst can enter orders as defined by the analyst, and if comes out successfully, who takes the glory? Assuming all goes well. So if an analyst can find a good setup, why are some poor at executing the orders themselves? could this be due to emotions and lack of discipline on the part of the Analyst? while the trader can easily input the entry, target and stop as defined without no emotions or need for discipline.

Can you be a good Trader without becoming an Analyst? We all know that the market can turn on us at any time not necessarily because our setup is bad but because of sentiments and some other reasons(fundamentals). While we have some Analyst/Traders who cut loss early and re-enter at low, so we have other Traders who scale all the way down/up and keep laddering and averaging entries till the market go their way. This shows there are different approaches to trading likewise analysis, so if analysis no matter the style is mainly to find entry and exit setup, and trading is about executing orders and make sure they are successful, what exactly makes a GOOD TRADER?
